Exploration
- He left to sail the blue in 1492
- His first stop was in the Canary Islands to get supplies and make repairs
- He had three ships that crossed the Atlantic Ocean and hit land at San Salvador in the Bahamas
- He returned to Spain without silk, gold, and spices that he was expecting to find
- He made three more voyages to the Caribbean region and never realized that his expeditions had not reached Asia
- By the end of the fifteenth century other mariners had explored was Columbus had
- They then realized that there was more apart from Europe, Asia, and Africa.
This is another map showing the voyages that Christopher Columbus took
Effects

- He found slaves and was able to try to make the mine for gold and make this land better
- He was imprisoned and taken back to Europe
- Other Mariners came back after his death and actually realized what Columbus had found
- There was more to the world apart from Asia, Europe, and Africa
- This helped people out in many ways realizing there was more land and more trade
