Overview of Chapter 21 :
The following chapter is about the interactions between regions spanning from Europe to Asia. The website goes in-depth into how cross cultural interactions led to trade, technological developments, expeditions, spread of diseases and the renaissance. Through the expeditions of Marco Polo, ibn-Batuta, Zheng He, and Christopher Columbus we learn about the lands they conquered..etc.. The facilitation of trade leads to cultural diffusion and the bubonic plague. The spread of such diseases leads to a crisis which the European States later recover from.
